Carl Jung’s greatest breakthrough was realizing that the mind is not isolated inside the skull. Beneath personal memory, trauma, dreams, symbols, and instinct, Jung saw a deeper collective layer connecting all human beings through archetypes. Jung called it synchronicity when inner meaning and outer events lined up without obvious cause. FWT explains that as coherence between the observer’s internal standing wave and the external field.
